Perfumer Richard Herpin, known for his French atelier precision, built the fragrance around a suede‑rich opening, then layered frankincense, saffron and warm spices to give it depth. The concept fits the brand’s philosophy of isolating a single impression, here, the impression of a leather‑soft moment captured in amber.

The decision to pair suede with saffron and spices was deliberate; saffron adds a luminous, slightly metallic edge that brightens the otherwise dark leather, while the spices prevent the composition from feeling static. Bourbon‑vetiver in the base grounds the intensity, and a dash of pink pepper injects a fleeting sparkle, making the dry‑down feel both earthy and lively.
